Yesterday, I came home from work after grocery shopping and showed Jarred that I had bought his favorite ice cream (Tin Roof). We recently purchased a stand alone freezer and have been enjoying the usage of it for the beef we bought in bulk and other frozen items that don't fit in our side by side. He asked that I go ahead and put it in our freezer in the garage. So I did, and to my delight, this is what I found:
1) Please continue to pray for my supervisor's husband who had the skiing accident. He is non-weight bearing on his hip for several more weeks. He had a blood clot in his leg last week but is doing better now. Again his name is Kim and my supervisor is Debbie.
2) Please continue to pray for my co-worker's grandson, Jack. He was born in December and has been in the NICU on a ventilator since delivery. They did a lung biopsy and diagnosed him with a rare lung disease of pulmonary interstitial glycogenesis. They are treating him with steroids and hoping to have a date to bring him home soon. My co-worker's name is Kathie.
3) Please pray for one of my great friends from nursing school (Jill) and her husband (Tony). Their beautiful infant daughter named Adelaide was born in November with 2 holes in her heart. She was scheduled for heart surgery last week; however, she was diagnosed with RSV (like a cold for children) before the scheduled surgery. She has been in the hospital since. RSV is difficult on babies, but particularly for those who have heart issues. Please keep this family in your prayers. They have another adorable daughter named Lucy who just turned 3 and it is hard having a little one at home and another one sick in the hospital. They are going to reschedule her heart surgery after she is fully recovered.
