The furniture is in WONDERFUL condition. I absolutely love it. We are fairly frugal and we didn't know if we would have matching furniture for our nursery. I figured we would buy the crib and that we could use an existing dresser we already have. But when we saw this deal, we couldn't pass it up. We spent as much as most people spend on a crib alone and got a whole set instead. We figured we saved between $500-$600! So I am excited about the furniture and the fact that we got an amazing deal.
We brought it home and put it together right away. Below are the pictures. (Sorry they are grainy and dark. I need a new camera...) Our nursery is starting to look less like a "catch all room" and more like a nursery:
1) Please pray for one of my great friends from nursing school (Jill) and her husband (Tony). Their beautiful daughter named Adelaide was born in November with 2 holes in her heart. She is scheduled for heart surgery today. Please pray for this family and for Adelaide. They have another adorable daughter named Lucy who just turned 3 and it is hard having a little one at home and another one in the hospital.
2)Please continue to pray for my co-worker's grandson, Jack. He was born in December and has been in the NICU since delivery. They did a lung biopsy and diagnosed him with a rare lung disease of pulmonary interstitial glycogenesis. He recently had surgery for a tracheotomy and a G-Tube (tube in stomach for feeding). They are transferring him from NICU to Infant ICU tomorrow. He has had quite the rough time since he has been born. My co-worker's name is Kathie.
